Following the introduction of shorter settlement times, the registration of securities in the name of a nominee company has become the most efficient way to hold securities and settle transactions. HALB Nominees Limited is a separate company whose only activity is to hold client securities. Clients using this facility will have their assets protected in accordance with the rules of the Securities and Futures Authority. For added peace of mind, EFG Harris Allday also carries insurance cover at Lloyds of up to £5m per client. We also write to you at least annually to confirm your holdings. |

Clients using nominee facilities should find the administrative burden
significantly reduced. Share dealing takes place on exactly the same basis
as before but client involvement with
certificates and transfer deeds is no longer necessary. This allows
considerably faster settlement.
All dividends are received at this office and, at your convenience, can either be held here or paid by the BACS system to a bank account. As the dividends are received in this office, we are able to prepare a Composite Tax Voucher every year. All of these services are currently available free of charge. |
