Investment Management for Charities & Trusts

Helping charities to achieve their investment goals.

Understanding your charity's investment guidelines and the purpose of your portfolio

The majority of our charity clients appoint us on a discretionary basis, allowing us to manage the day-to-day responsibility of a portfolio in line with your charity’s ethos and investment goals. Many charities invest for additional income towards future funding. An investment manager will create a strategy in line with your level of risk.

For many years we have provided investment solutions to registered charities and trusts

Our team manages investments for more than 200 charities, with an average portfolio size of £1.07m as at end February 2022. We are experienced at dealing with a number of different charitable organisations including educational and religious charities, and charities supporting schools.

When we work with our charity clients we start by considering the investment policy statement. We can help you identify your charity’s investment objectives and look at factors such as income requirements, ethical considerations, investment restrictions and risk tolerance.

We provide ongoing reporting on a quarterly basis, highlighting the performance of your portfolio. Trustees have access to our online client portal and we are happy to attend trustee meetings to provide regular updates.

Working with your investment manager

Your investment manager will be supported by an experienced team, including assistants, a dedicated in-house research team and back-office support.

The centralised research team and investment process is designed to carry out due diligence across a wide range of assets. This allows investment managers to create truly bespoke portfolios, tailored to meet the changing needs of the charity over time.
