Anthony Snowden, Director and Investment Manager and Rupert Cecil, Head of Charities & Philanthropy, will be based at Park House, London, working alongside Director and Investment Manager, George Marling.

Having joined from a financial planning background, George has now been an Investment Manager with EFG Harris Allday for the past four years, managing money for private clients, charities and trusts.

Anthony joins us from another London-based Wealth Management firm. Previously Anthony worked at Ruffer as an Investment Manager for twelve years, where he managed portfolios on behalf of private clients, financial advisers, charities, and pension schemes. He is a Chartered Fellow (FCSI) with industry-leading expertise managing global, multi-asset portfolios.

In his role Anthony will manage both the ongoing client relationships, whilst undertaking the day-to-day investment management responsibility on behalf of his clients.

Rupert has joined as Head of Charities and Philanthropy, having built over thirty years of investment experience. Prior to joining EFG Harris Allday he was Head of Charities and Philanthropy at Brown Shipley, and before held similar roles at UBP and HSBC Private Bank. He is an associate of the CFA, member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Rupert is also personally involved with several charities outside of work. He is a trustee of the Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation and sits on the Maanch advisory board. Rupert is also a Patron of the Royal Institution of Great Britain and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation where he chairs their Challenge Events Committee and has run the London Marathon eight times for the charity.

Rupert will focus on developing EFG Harris Allday’s charity relationships, with both new and existing clients. He will work alongside our Investment Managers across our four offices, providing guidance and support where required.
