Inspiring Leadership with Katey Martin

We were delighted to be joined by guest speaker, Katey Martin, Hostage & Crisis Negotiator, and Specialist Police Negotiator on the UK’s Counter Terrorism Negotiation Team.  

Katey provided an insight into her career highs, encounters faced, and methods to help change adversity into opportunity. Our guests discussed professional and personal challenges, having overcome many barriers throughout their careers, whilst having the opportunity to network and celebrate leaders from various industries. 

UK & FBI trained, Katey teaches negotiation nationally and internationally. Having been a Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police for 29 years, Katey specialises in high pressure negotiation with change resistant and extremist mindsets.

Through Katey’s insights, we explored the power of empathy, trust, and collaboration to help navigate complex challenges and establish effective communication.
